COLLECTIVE LABOUR RELATIONS IN THE PRIVATE SECTOR

Client: Ministry of Social Affairs

Period: 2011

The regulation of Estonian collective labor relations needs to be renewed. For this reason, the Ministry of Social Affairs commissioned several studies with the aim of analyzing the current situation of collective labor relations, practices and the opinions and observations of the parties on the functioning of collective labor relations and regulation in the field.

Our task was to focus on the private sector. Both qualitative and quantitative research was carried out (in cooperation with Turu-uuringute AS), and documents archived at the state conciliator were also analyzed. The results of the study are primarily intended as input material for consultations on collective labor relations and will hopefully also contribute to the emergence of a constructive dialogue. More detailed information on the results of the study is available in the reports.
